The firm Loyal Kaspar redid the brand and logo for the Travel Channel, and write about the thinking behind it, as well as offering a lot of interstitials for your enjoyment.
The branding relies on a combination of a custom hand-drawn font and a “home-movie” style of cinematography to reposition the cable channel away from journeys to exotic locales to a focus on interesting journeys to places closer to home, all fitting with the “new slate of talent-driven programming.”
